Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy is an integral part of my practice. I incorporate mindfulness techniques to foster self-awareness, to reduce stress, and to promote emotional well-being. Cultivating mindfulness may enhance your overall mental health and quality of life.
My Approach
I believe in the power of therapy to foster positive change. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I identify as eclectic in my therapeutic orientation, drawing from psychodynamic informed understanding and integrating specific skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices in order to provide a meaningful experience. The therapeutic relationship is unique and foundational for healing. For this reason, I am committed to creating a warm and non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns.

I have experience in working with individuals throughout the lifespan continuum, and I have specialized training and experience working with older adults. Additional trainings include:
- trauma training with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- working with LGBTQ+ individuals, including providing therapy throughout transition (WPATH trainings)
- assessment of refugees for disability exemption (N-648)
